I grew up on a farm in rural Maryland. At a young age, I was adventurous and exposed to the natural landscape that surrounded me. Walks in the woods and afternoons playing by the stream seeded an appreciation for the outdoors. That appreciation was reinforced through adventures in life that had a focus on being immersed in nature.

I studied at Gordon College where I received an art minor. My Mind awakened to a spark of talent that has now become a flame to cultivate and grow.

As an artist, I see it as my goal to transcribe the beauty of the world that surrounds us. Through my art, I hope to help others open their eyes to find moments of beauty in their own lives.

An artist can act as a guide, directing the viewer towards a greater appreciation of scenes they might not be able to see in their everyday lives.

In our modern age, we tend to have our heads down and our attention captured. It is easy to pass by something every day and not think much of it. But when one sees an artist painting that view, a new perspective or appreciation can be realized.

I believe that it is my calling to find what is worth seeing and help others appreciate this wonderful world we live in. There is so much to see and appreciate. It is my mission to capture that essence one brush stroke at a time.
